This scholarship is awarded by AzLA, and covers the full-conference fee only. Additional fees such as lodging and travel expenses are not included. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible.
- Must be a current member of AzLA
- Recipient agrees to write an essay to be published in the AzLA Newsletter or website and include a digital image
- Recipient agrees to volunteer a minimum of 2 hours at the AzLA 2017 Conference
- Recipient’s employer or school is not financially supporting AzLA Conference attendance
Note: Do not register for the conference until you have been notified regarding your scholarship status.
Apply by September 1, 2017 for consideration.
Note: Make sure to register if you want to take advantage of the early bird pricing, which ends September 4th. Select the bill me option so that if you are not awarded a scholarship you can still receive the early bird pricing.

Arizona State Library Scholarships
All library personnel employed full-time in Arizona libraries are eligible to apply for a scholarship in order to attend continuing education events including workshops, institutes, or conferences.
The scholarships may include the cost of conference fees, room & board, and travel. An applicant may apply for scholarship funds not to exceed $1250 during an October 1 – September 30 LSTA fiscal year. Scholarship applications must be submitted at least 60 days before the conference.
